Bollywood Film Reviews
Rang De Basanti-color me..impressed!
Posted by reeta on Tuesday, March 14, 2006 (EST)
Every generation has a film that inspires it, speaks to it, maybe even for it, to some extent.

Indian Fish in American Waters – when will we learn to swim?
Posted by reeta on Sunday, October 09, 2005 (EST)
Enough angst already. Is this all we know, our only story? Arranged marriage, Indian parents, wannabe American kids who discover they are Indian after all. Not convinced? Read the storylines of three movies about growing up in the US in Indian households

Mangal Pandey - The Rising - the music
Posted by reeta on Friday, July 22, 2005 (EST)

Posted by reeta on Saturday, October 09, 2004 (EST)
2004 has turned out to be a banner year for A.R. Rahman and his fans. After a long dry spell marked by the unimpressive Tehzeeb and recycled fare of Saathiya and Bombay Dreams, ARR has produced Lakeer, Meenaxi, Yuva and now Swades this year. The last three CDs have been well worth the wait.
